You"re Tee-rific The Paper Players Challenge PP688

May 6, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The Lovely LeAnne is our hostess this week and she has a very FUN Theme Challenge for all of us!  Animal Antics is on the board.  SO, dig out those animal stamps and have fun!

My card is created for my son for Father's Day.  I dug out some green patterned papers and had some fun layering them.  This is a stamp set from SugarPea Designs.  It is called Tee-rific! It is retired now, but it is such a fun stamp to make masculine cards.  I colored him with Copic Markers and Paper Pieced his hat.  I added a pom pom on his hat and some enamel dots for fun.

Many Thanks Sunday Stamps Challenge SSC334

April 28, 2024

It's time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps

The amazing Heidi created this fun sketch for all of us!  I love it and I will use it many times.  It is so versatile and perfect for every type of card!

I found this beautiful pack of paper in my stash and decided to pick five of the sheets of paper and create this card.  It was so easy!.  I just added all the elements in the sketch!  The sentiment was stamped on a little tag die.  I added enamel dots and and a white twine bow.  I love the way it turned out!

WELCOME The Paper Players PP687

 April 28, 2024

It's Sunday and time for a new challenge at The Paper Players.

The wonderful Joanne is our hostess this week and she has an amazing sketch challenge for all of us!  This sketch is so versatile and you can create any type of card with this special sketch!  Have fun and get creative!

My neighbors just had a baby girl!  I am so excited.  They named her Betty!  How sweet is that.  I wanted to make a fun card for her, but didn't want to use pastels. So, I looked through all my paper packs and found this fun, bright pink paper.  I added a panel for the background and cut the four squares with a coordinating paper using square dies.  The white circle was cut with a die and I sponged it with ink.  The little onesie is from a "vintage" Stampin' Up set called Something for Baby.  I will always keep this gem in my stash.  I don't make many baby cards, but it sure is an amazing set when I do.  Of course, every Southern girl needs pearls, too!  A little welcome was added to complete my card.
