I am also playing along with SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge #19.  I loved their sketch!  It was perfect for my card.

My card is created on a white card base.  Tempting Turquoise paper is used for the background.  I found a piece of candy cane stripes in my stash.  I used the stamp set and dies Merry Makers  from SugarPea Designs.  The circles were cut using the Zig Zag Stitched Circles dies from SugarPea Designs.  Copic Markers were used to color this funny little elf.  The sentiment is stamped in red ink.  A few candy dots were added for fun.  Wink of Stella added shine to my little fellow.  This card made me smile when I finished it!

Thank you very much for stopping by my blog today!  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment!

Follow Your Dreams--FMS259

October 19, 2016

It was a beautiful day in Georgia, but I found a few minutes to sneak in my "tepee" to make a card.  I am playing along with the Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  My super talented friend Linda is the hostess this week!

I bought this stamp set a few months ago and have been waiting to ink it up.  This simple sketch was perfect to showcase this buck.  My card is created on a white card base.  The next layer is Bermuda Bay.  The top white layer is trimmed with a stitched die.  I stamped chevrons from Papertrey Ink Noted Stamp Set in Cajun Craze and Bermuda Bay on this layer.  I stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay.  The stag and sentiment are from Newton Nooks Adventure Awaits.  I used Crushed Curry to stamp the stag and trimmed it with an oval die.  I sponged Bermuda Bay ink on the oval shape.  Enamel dots were added to complete my card.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.  I love to hear from you, so please leave a comment if you have a minute!

Thinking Of You!--PPA322

October 17, 2016

I had a very busy weekend and wanted to play along with a few challenges.  I finally found a few minutes today to work on a card for the multi talented Susan Itell's sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts.  My brother-in-law just had knee replacement surgery.  I wanted to send him a card to let him know we were thinking of him.  This sketch was just perfect for what I wanted to create.  Thanks, Susan!

My card is created on a white card base.  I added a piece of paper that I found in my stash and trimmed it using the SugarPea Designs Stitched Rectangle dies.  I added four strips of black paper cut in 1/2" pieces for the stripes.  A white circle was cut using the SugarPea Designs Stitched Circle Dies.  I stamped the monkey from SugarPea Designs Caring Critters Stamp Set .  I thought he looked like he was hanging in there and that is just what you do the first few weeks after knee replacement.

THANK YOU very much for stopping by my blog today!  If you have a chance please leave a comment.  I always love to hear from you!
